Dr. Payoz Pandey is an accomplished consultant neurosurgeon and neurointervention specialist at Graphic Era Institute of Medical Sciences, Dehradun, with extensive expertise in both surgical and interventional neurosurgery. He completed his MBBS from KMC Mangalore, followed by an MCh in neurosurgery and advanced training in neurointervention at Calcutta National Medical College, Kolkata. Further specializing in endoscopic skull base surgery, third ventricle surgery, neurointervention, and endospinal surgery, he gained additional training in Mumbai.
Dr. Pandey specializes in endovascular treatments, which include advanced methods like aneurysm coiling, AVM embolization, and mechanical thrombectomy for treating strokes. His proficiency in these minimally invasive techniques has allowed him to treat complex vascular pathologies of the brain with precision and high success rates.
Additionally, Dr. Pandey is highly skilled in endoscopic skull base surgery, offering a minimally invasive approach to tumors and lesions at the base of the skull. His expertise extends to spinal surgery, where he handles both degenerative and traumatic spinal conditions with a focus on preserving neurological function.
